The patio was constructed using a carefully curated palette of materials to achieve depth and articulation. A primary paver field establishes structure and usability, framed by cobblestone detailing and a Mexican beach pebble border that introduces fine texture and visual contrast. Landscape lighting plays a critical role in the overall composition. Fixtures along the driveway and pathways enhance safety and navigation, while selective uplighting highlights mature trees and focal plantings, adding dimension and ambiance after dark.
Plantings were intentionally selected for low maintenance and year-round structure. Layered shrubs and perennial accents soften edges, reinforce circulation patterns, and provide seasonal interest without overwhelming the architectural hardscape.
