Set within the pastoral landscape of Kennett Square, this estate project was designed to balance recreation with long-term horticultural structure. The goal was not simply to add amenities, but to shape immersive private grounds that feel cohesive and enduring.
Two custom par-3 golf holes were integrated into the landscape using premium synthetic turf, complete with elevated tee boxes that establish both playability and architectural presence. The golf features are framed intentionally — surrounded by layered planting and softened by natural topography to ensure they feel embedded in the land rather than imposed upon it.
Natural stone steps and boulder outcroppings create transition and movement throughout the property, grounding the recreational elements in material authenticity. Walkways and a patio extend usable outdoor living space, while expansive perennial plantings and perimeter screening introduce four-season structure, privacy, and ecological depth.
The perimeter planting design was critical — establishing enclosure, visual rhythm, and seasonal progression across the estate. Shrubs, trees, and perennials were composed to create evolving texture and color throughout the year, ensuring the property performs as beautifully in winter as it does in peak summer.
The result is a private landscape that blends refined leisure with disciplined design — a property shaped equally for play, presence, and permanence.
